I like pixels, problem solving, and pizza.

As an Art Director, my role is to shepherd a project from discovery to execution. One thing that sets me apart is my ability to both see the big picture of a project and hone in on the details. I am always looking for ways to push myself professionally and I love taking on new and unique challenges.

I graduated from Georgia Tech in 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design with a passion and focus on human-centered design and user interaction. Since then, I have been applying my love for crafting memorable experiences first as a Web Designer then as an Art Director at digital agencies across Atlanta.

I have worked with a wide range of clients across many industries. I believe a great idea means nothing if you are unable to articulate it to your audience. I take pride in my ability to work directly with clients as their UX and design guide, translating complex ideas into easy to understand solutions that everyone can relate to.

UX Director, GreenPrint

January 2020 – Present

  • Managed a team of designers, content writers, and freelance design contributors.
  • Directed the UX, planning, and strategy of a new product launch for our largest financial client which included mapping user journeys, creating landing pages, integrated forms, and marketing assets for end customers, sales teams, and digital marketing.
  • Lead the strategy development for our corporate site, including a UX audit of the current website, mapping all sales funnels through the site, and adding lead gen-enabled landing pages and conversion points to increase ROI and sales opportunities.
  • Designed and revamped program websites for clients such as Circle K, Fleetcor, and Ahold Delhaize.
  • Oversaw project teams in the creation of client program assets ranging from on-site collateral, print design, email campaigns, high-conversion digital ads, and video storyboards.

Art Director, The Creative Momentum

June 2018 – January 2020

  • Led junior designers on UX and web design projects including design critiques, task management, and presentation coaching.
  • Drove strategy and cross-department collaboration, streamlining internal processes and assembling projects teams across the marketing, design, and development departments.
  • Directed client projects from discovery to execution, including architecting and creating design systems for 1000+ page websites.
  • Designed and planned concepts for RFPs and sales pitches in collaboration with the Business Development team.

Senior Designer, The Creative Momentum

October 2015 – June 2018

  • Worked cross-functionally with marketers and developer to create digital experiences from scope to launch.
  • Executed the full design process for client projects, including discovery and stakeholder interviews, identifying project goals and KPIs, crafting sitemaps and wireframes, visual design, and coordinating handoffs to the development team.
  • Communicated and presented directly to client stakeholders throughout every touchpoint in the design process.
  • Provided design strategy, problem solving, and UX guidance in client meeting, and during project execution.
  • Thrived in a fast-paced agency setting, able to juggle many clients at once, multitask, and quickly pivot between projects.

Senior UX Designer, Blue Key Interactive

June 2014 – October 2015

  • Lead design on project sitemapping and information architecture, UX prototyping, and visual design execution.
  • Merged human-centered design empathy and problem solving skills to provide creative solutions to complex UX problems.
  • Worked directly with clients in the discovery phases to create personas and understand their business needs.
  • Led marketing and social campaigns, logo design, and brand strategy projects, often working as a mentor to design interns.
  • Collaborated closely with our development team to understand how designs evolve into clean and accessible code, taking initiative to enhance my knowledge of HTML and CSS to better bridge the barrier between the design and development teams.

Web Designer, Eclipse Web Media

October 2012 – June 2014

  • Executed requirements gathering and the creation of responsive designs for websites and web applications.
  • Worked closely with the director of marketing to design and test social media assets, digital display ads, and PPC landing pages.
  • Design lead for large footprint website projects with over 50 web properties.
  • Completed a full redesign of the agency brand including logo development, website architecture and design, and creation of brand guidelines.
